Dog Obedience Class Titles

What exactly is an Obedience Trial?

The following are the exercises that you and your dog can compete at different levels by gaining Titles within the Obedience scene of Australia. Rules are govern by the ANKC, one set of rules for the whole Country, therefore a uniform standard, with active Judges whom are updated yearly and tested with their knowledge of the Ring that they are qualified to judge.

Dogs must be over six months of age to compete. The C.C.D., C.D., C.D.X., U.D. and U.D.X. titles are used after the dog's name. As higher qualifications are obtained, the lower title is no longer used. The C.C.D. and U.D.X unless you have gained your O.C. then all Titles are deleted from the name, and O.C appears before the Registered name, more about gaining your O.C is in a paragraph at the bottom of page
