After  only four months` training for the ring,  Ollie  entered the CCD ring to qualify immediately with a second place, followed by three first places. He is a consistently focused heeler and approaches all his work with much enthusiasm.

At his first CD trial in May 2009, Ollie placed equal third with a countback to fourth  at Canberra Royal. His next two passes were at a double Illawarra Trial in July 2009. An outstanding achievement for any dog , let alone a spitz breed . He came second in the ring both times and was the ONLY DOG on the day to pass in both am and pm trials.
